2026 Spring Baseball Registration
DBYAL baseball is available at no cost to kids 6-12 years old in Durham, NC. Teams will be organized and begin practicing around the end of March 2026. Games will begin on Saturday, April 18th and the season will conclude on June 6 with our annual Family Fun Day and the 12U championship game.
DBYAL is split into two leagues: 6-8 year olds play in the 8U league, while 9-12 year olds play in the 12U league. Both leagues are open to kids of any gender. Your child will need a baseball glove, but all other equipment is provided by the league. If your child is left handed and will throw with their left hand, please make sure they have a left handed glove.
Games for the 8U league are held on Saturday mornings at either 9am or 10:30am, with one week off for Memorial Day weekend. The 12U league plays on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6pm or 7:30pm. All games and many teams' practices will be held at Long Meadow Park in Durham. Other fields in Durham (Lakeview Park, Whippoorwill Park, Valley Springs) will also be used for practices.
